Historical Facts and Elements Uses:
Radon is made when Uranium decays.  It is not found in all living things.  High levels of Radon can be very dangerous.   It is a very heavy gas that sinks so it goes into the basement and then it rises and gets into the house and can kill people.  Radon causes 1400 deaths a year.  Radon can cure cancer if used carefully.  Radon comes from the Latin word niton which means shining. You can find Radon in granite rock and spring water.  Radon is the heaviest known gas. Radon is colorless and odorless and is tasteless.
