Praseodymium is soft, malleable, and ductile.  Its color is silvery yellow.  It is resistant to corrosion in the air.  It develops a green oxide that falls off when exposed to air.  As other rare other rare Earth Elements it must be kept under light oil or sealed in plastic.  It was discovered in 1885 by C.F. Aeur Van Wesbach.
